AC Milan target Andrea Belotti from Torino after missing out on Morata and Aubameyang

AC Milan are in talks to sign Andrea Belotti from Torino after missing out on Alvaro Morata and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Sky sources understand.

Belotti has an £88m release clause in his contract, but this only applies to foreign clubs, and Sky Sports News has been told the 23-year-old wants to move to Milan.

Milan are offering Torino £35m plus two players – forward M’Baye Niang and defender Gabriel Paletta, but Torino have asked for much more.
Their preferred deal would be for £53m plus three players – Niang, Paletta and midfielder Manuel Locatelli.

Belotti scored 28 times last season and he was on a shortlist of strikers looked at by Chelsea and Manchester United this summer.

Under new Chinese owners, Milan have spent £160m on 10 players this summer, nearly £70m of that being splashed out on Juventus defender Andrea Bonucci and Porto striker Andre Silva.
