Real Madrid have put Gareth Bale up for sale. The La Liga side have grown increasingly frustrated with the frequency of the winger’s injuries and are willing to listen to offers for the Manchester United transfer target. Italy may sack head coach Gian Piero Ventura even if they qualify for next summer’s World Cup in Russia. Carlo Ancelotti is widely tipped to be the man to assume charge of first-team duties. The former Chelsea boss is out of work after leaving Bayern Munich earlier this season. (La Gazzetta dello Sport)

PSG are keen to sell player in January, with Hatem Ben Arfa, Javier Pastore, Lucas Moura and Angel Di Maria all rumoured for a departure from the Parc des Princes.
PSG are interested in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl. Last summer, the Ligue 1 side tried to bolster their midfield by signing one of Fabinho from Monaco, Danilo Pereira of Porto and Nice’s Jean-Michael Seri. However, they may be too expensive now the Parisians are struggling to stay within the parameters of FFP. With that in mind, they have identified Weigl, 22, as a possible target and are also monitoring the situation of Real Sociedad’s Asier Illarramendi. (L’Equipe)

The Austrian international was signed by the Hammers for £25m, but has struggled to make an impact, with his performances drawing jeers from his own supporters in recent weeks.
