Jurgen Klopp remains adamant Philippe Coutinho will not be sold by Liverpool, despite Barcelona’s confidence in signing the player.

Liverpool take on Bayern Munich in their pre-season Audi Cup competition on Tuesday but will be without Divock Origi (hamstring) and Joe Gomez (knee), with Klopp confirming the pair are suffering from „minor“ injuries.

James Milner, Loris Karius and Dejan Lovren are all available for selection after training over the weekend, but Klopp suggested Liverpool will have to be patient on Danny Ings’ return after the striker resumed full training following nine months out with a knee injury.

„He is in a really good way and we are very pleased with what he is doing,“ Klopp told Liverpool’s official website.
„But it is smart and responsible for him that we allow him maximum time and sessions – both individually and with the team.
