Chelsea captain Gary Cahill tells Soccer AM’s Tubes as many as six teams could challenge for the Premier League title this season.

The defender has been handed the captaincy at the Premier League champions for the 2017/18 season following John Terry’s departure.

With the Blues and Liverpool returning to European football, and all top six clubs strengthening considerably in the transfer market along with Everton, Cahill believes the title race will be more open than ever.

„But that has to be our aim and ambition. As do the other big clubs, that’s what they strive to achieve. We managed to do it last year and we know how difficult it is. We’re going to work extra hard, even harder than last year, to make sure we compete.“
