This is going to be the one to watch for sure. With all due respect to the rest of the teams in Championship, Norwich City and Newcastle United play the most attractive football and are arguably the strongest sides in the entire competition.

The Magpies can back this fact up with the results since they top the league ladder after 30 rounds, while the Canaries have had so many slip ups and generally a rollercoaster season since the start of the campaign. Anyhow, the game with Newcastle comes in a perfect moment for Alex Neil and his men who netted as many as five goals in the weekend’s demolition of Nottingham Forest at Carrow Road.

The Scottish manager even rested some of his key men including Cameron Jerome and Jacob Murphy having the match with the Magpies in mid, but he now has troubles of a different kind. The English teenager Alex Prichard bagged a brace leaving Neil in doubts about giving the youngster an opportunity to make the start once again. Additionally, Neil will be happy to know that Newcastle’s star man Dwight Gayle was last time on the pitch exactly a month ago.

Rafael Benitez is hoping to see him back in action just on Tuesday at Carrow Road and it will be very interesting to see if the Spanish boss will use his main target up front or the Serbian forward Aleksandar Mitrovic will get his chance. Mitrovic was just the one who made the difference against the Wolves at Molineux on Saturday evening leaving Newcastle on top of the Championship standings.

It is not quite common to see Newcastle as underdogs in a Championship fixture, but the Canaries improve d their game a lot over the last couple of weeks. Goals simply must be the top betting prediction for this match because these two sides have the best attacking lineups in the entire competition.
